The National Labour Commission (nlc) ordered Mortuary workers to call off the strike. The Mortuary Workers Association of Ghana called off the strike after NLC had engaged the association.
The Executive Secretary of the nlc, Hon. Ofosu Asamoah said the engagement was used to set the ground rules for subsequent meetings of all the parties that are involved, the Fair wages and salary commission, the ministry of employment and the labour relation and the ministry of Health.
